The marathon NBA season continued for the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. They suffered a blowout loss at home against the New Orleans Pelicans, as they lacked a scoring punch without their stars. It was a tough night for the Knicks in the second half of a back-to-back against the Pelicans. New Orleans being a solid team is hard enough before taking into account that New York had a physical game Monday night against the Detroit Pistons and was without Jalen Brunson. It was a recipe for a disaster for the Knicks. In the first half, the Knicks did hang in there with the Pelicans, as their defense was playing well to start the game. Unfortunately for the team, the offense struggled without Brunson, as missing an MVP-caliber player is hard to overcome. Overall, the Knicks were only able to muster 92 points, as it was one of their worst offensive performances of the season.
