Since completing her first Yoga Teacher Training at Laughing Lotus in 2006, Lisa has been teaching mindful practices in New York City. Lisa's yoga practice and teaching continue to evolve and deepen through her own daily explorations, both on the mat and off, and through continued study with the teachers who inspire her most (Glenn Black, Eleanor Criswell Hanna, Leslie Kaminoff, Jean Koerner, Timothy McCall). She received her 500hr certification through ISHTA Yoga with Alan Finger, has been certified in Thai Yoga Bodywork with Jonas Westring, Restorative and Prenatal Yoga with various teachers and completed a 300hr Bodytuning Training with master bodyworker Shmuel Tatz. Most recently, she completed a year long training in Somatic Yoga with Eleanor Criswell at the Novato Institute in Novato, CA. Lisa Teaches an intelligent flow that is inspired by the wisdom of your breath and guided by the innate alignment of your body. Illuminating new possibilities within body and mind through movement with awareness and helping students to go beyond perceived limitaions by working within the natural intelligence of the body rather than fighting against it. So the practice is fun! even while it challenges you. Lisa currently teaches group yoga classes through Equinox in the city.  She also works privately and semi-privately within her own home and through in-house sessions with corporate and private clients.
