Most people move from one task to another without pausing to think about themselves because their lives are generally traveling in overdrive. Because we live in a society that promotes estrangement from our physical bodies, when we do finally seek out these avenues of connection, they may seem impossible to locate. Because of this, my coaching model S.O.M.A. is an effective tool for helping clients connect with their true selves and break any stagnant emotional cycles. The word "soma" in the acronym is a Greek word that denotes the physical body as opposed to the mind or spirit.
