Manitobans who have been waiting years for fashion retail giant H&M to arrive in Winnipeg now have a date to circle on their calender. | Sept. 10 — noon to be exact — is when the province’s first Hennes & Mauritz Inc. (H&M) store is slated to open in Winnipeg’s Polo Park Shopping Centre. | The 25,000-square-foot outlet will feature clothing and accessories for men, women, teens and children. | It had been rumoured for more than five years that H&M was coming to Winnipeg, and the Swedish-based firm finally made it official last October when it announced it would be opening a store at Polo Park. But it didn’t give a specific date, saying only that it would be sometime in the fall.
